Its always hard to know where to donate money effectively during disasters like the #TurkeyEarthquake. Empathi is a turkish NGO I support doing amazing work, now needing to do disaster recovery work.

Great work @TheOceanCleanup @BoyanSlat but I agree, visualising this data is hard for most. So looking at it like this......100,000kg of common consumer plastic waste like this......with a rough packing density of 16 lbs/ft3 (256.295 kg/M3) in a bale like this..
