My thoughts on Kanye’s Bully; There were some good songs and moments throughout. I think my main issue is the lack of atmosphere, cohesion, and immersion. This is something Kanye has always been great at and all his best albums have displayed at the highest level. His ability to construct soundscapes has been a standard chased by many. This felt like Kanye trying to find himself again creatively, a little bit of everything. It felt like a Kanye sample platter. With that said, seems like a mostly positive step up from his recent projects. Hopefully leads to a more polished and fleshed out project as this one felt very incomplete at times (in its current format).
