I think a tree would be a much better archetype. Let’s say moringa. Grows fast and big, is resilient to drought, and creates incredible nourishment for its recipients. Sounds like all the ideal qualities for a company.
Thanks for this prompt.

This is the power of category design. Imagine how ridiculous it would’ve sounded to “win a tiny house” before tiny houses became their own category. I wonder who coined it, and if there’s a category king? #playbigger
Hey Twitter. @its_homegrown is piloting a grant program for hobby gardeners to help feed their communities — please share w/ a gardener you know :)

I'm just trying to figure out how to piece this whole "local food system based on people's yards and the abundance growing naturally around us" thing with whoever is also working to create a better system that gives local communities ownership of our means of food production…
…so we can feed ourselves healthy food without worrying about what corporations did to it or whether it'll even be available during a crisis.
I don't have a financial agenda. I just want to build what's been missing to restore balance to humanity's relationship to food & earth.
Nobody really know the new me!
Dropped this song on my birthday as an expression of my rebirth.
Moving more into alignment with my purpose and vision, and I hope this song inspires you to do the same

Did you know mesquite flour is protein-rich and gluten-free? Or that ironwood beans are used in Ayurvedic medicine? 🌵 😌
Homegrown is organizing a community harvest this summer. 🙌 You can get paid if you need money, purchase, or donate your time:

anyone have thoughts on this?
“Storing water in a copper vessel works as a purification process, killing all the microorganisms like molds, fungi, algae and bacteria present in the water. It also helps maintain body's pH (acid-alkaline) balance”
Just spoke w/ Greg Peterson for 30 min and he told me there’s a huge need for commercial mesquite flour processing in the Sonoran Desert 🤔 this may become @its_homegrown’s next product line
