This may sound controversial but I truly believe It’s time for Israel to take back the Temple Mount.
On October 7th, Hamxs unleashed a massacre, calling it the “Al-Aqsa Flood.” They made it clear—this isn’t just a war against Israel; it’s a war to take Jerusalem and erase Jewish existence.
And yet, despite this, Israel still doesn’t have full sovereignty over the Temple Mount—Judaism’s holiest site. How does that make sense? Why is the Jewish nation’s most sacred ground still controlled by the Jordanian Waqf?
Let’s be clear: taking sovereignty over the Temple Mount doesn’t mean destroying mosques. It means Israel—not Jordan—decides what happens on the mountain. It means Jews can finally pray freely at their holiest site, just as Muslims and Christians worship freely in Israel. It means ending this absurd arrangement where Israel governs Jerusalem but is forced to surrender control over its most sacred place.
And if you’re worried this would “start a religious war,” wake up. What do you think has been happening for the past 16 months? This war isn’t about borders—it’s about the Palestinians’ refusal to accept Jewish sovereignty anywhere in Israel.
Enough is enough. It’s time to take back what’s ours. There is no justification—none—for Jordan controlling the holiest site in Judaism, in the heart of Israel’s capital. This isn’t just about faith. It’s about sovereignty, security, and self-respect. It’s time to reclaim the Temple Mount.
At least if it’s not reclaimed just yet, it’s definitely time to start talking about it.
