I'd like to setup a mini computer on my network to run LLM's. It seems like Mac Mini's are hard to find and have little memory options. What do people recommend? Mini PC with AMD AI chipset? I've been doing a bunch of reading about this and it's back and forth. Like this article - medium.com/@tentenco/mac-min…

Apple WWDC keynote live now. Lots of Siri talk and how great it will be. I have been hearing this for so long now and it has always been terrible. Why should I believe it will suddenly be good...or even slightly usable? #wwdc

A big Rails business just signed up for Ruby Native. It feels surreal to see that domain in the account list. Here's to me not messing up the onboarding! 😅

I have never watched a single episode….never will.
I have never watched 1 episode of Stephen Colberts' show. Have you?

Hey dumb @redsox…this!
This Red Sox team is unbearable to watch. I've seen enough. They're going nowhere. Here's the checklist: - Fire Breslow - Try to get Theo to run the deadline. If not, Romero. - Sell at the deadline - Name a new GM who knows what he's doing - Let that GM hire the next manager

Wow…spot on!
Here is a question. You think Cora didn’t want Bregman back even though Bregman loved it here? You think it was Cora who didn’t believe him that he had another offer from the Cubs? You think it was Cora who cheaped out? You think it was Cora who wants Durbin as his 3rd baseman over one of the best leaders in baseball? (Cubs 2nd best record in baseball by the way). This team is a joke but it’s been a joke for a long time and it all starts with John Henry. He won’t pay for anybody. Breslow sucks. Henry sucks. #selltheteam

This is putting it nicely!
The 2026 Boston Red Sox are straight up ass.

Same here. It’s a great way to go. I’ve been using @hatchboxio since its early days.
Just migrated every. single. one. of my projects to @hatchboxio. No more Render, no more Heroku, no more Fly. I think I'm saving $1,500 per year with this and a single Hetzner box.

I only learnt today that macOS has /usr/bin/time (not the shell version!) which has a -l option for showing memory/resource usage of whatever you ran.

This looks like it could be awesome for Rails devs who don’t want to deal with Swift. Going to give it a try with one of my apps.
For everyone asking, this was built with Ruby Native! rubynative.com

i found a github repo that lets you spin up an ai agency with ai employees engineers, designers, growth marketers, product managers each role runs as its own agent and they coordinate to ship ideas 10k stars in under 7 days 1. engineering (7 agents) frontend, backend, mobile, ai, devops, prototyping, senior development 2. design (7) ui/ux, research, architecture, branding, visual storytelling, image generation 3. marketing (8) growth hacking, content, twitter, tiktok, instagram, reddit, app store 4. product (3) sprint prioritization, trend research, feedback synthesis 5. project management (5) production, coordination, operations, experimentation 6. testing (7) qa, performance analysis, api testing, quality verification 7. support (6) customer service, analytics, finance, legal, executive reporting 8. spatial computing (6) xr, visionos, webxr, metal, vision pro 9. specialized (6) multi agent orchestration, data analytics, sales, distribution what i like about this approach is the framing instead of one big ai agent trying to do everything, you structure it more like a company. specialized agents, clear responsibilities, workflows between them im curious to see what this actually feels like in practice and if its any good (do your own research) github.com/msitarzewski/agen… but as always will share what i learn in public and on @startupideaspod one thing is for certain and it reminds me the future belongs to those who tinker with software like this

This looks pretty cool!
I launched a new little Mac app. It's a HFS disk image creator and editor. This is perfect for editing images for emulators like mini vMac and Basilisk II, or virtual disk devices like Blue SCSI, Zulu SCSI, and Floppy Emu. #retromac oaksnow.com/sector/

Ruby is the best language for building AI apps. Yes, really. The AI training ecosystem is irrelevant. What's left is product engineering, and nobody does that better than Ruby developers. Includes my keynote at RubyConf Thailand 2026. paolino.me/ruby-is-the-best-…

As a developer, using anything AI just continually amazes me daily. There is always something new that makes me realize I didn't know. They are so good at Ruby on Rails and maintaining context of the applications I am working on both the code base and the domain.
