Inferential model fit tests for SEM are so nice that we did it twice! @rcribbie and I developed an equivalence testing based version of SRMR: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3915… with an R function available now on the negligible package!
Are you looking for a better inferential test for model fit in SEM? Equivalence testing based versions of RMSEA and CFI might be what you are looking for: osf.io/gsazf/

I am very excited to be teaching a 4th year 'Seminar in Statistics' for Psychology students in the fall. The course was designed years ago, but has never been taught. If anyone has taught something similar, or has any thoughts on topics to include, please let me know.
See original tweet below. Anyone have tips on searching for articles with a particular analysis strategy (e.g., SEM) and open data? Would be great for teaching examples and research article examples using real data.
