I don't want to say it ever got boring or miserable listening to
@THEVinceRusso podcast the last couple years,
but we had a guy who seemed pinned and committed 6 days of the week to consuming and reviewing a safe sterile show that never went anywhere and was scared to move the needle, there just wasn't much for him to say or offer. So while it was sad seeing things like the Raw Reviews with Chris Featherstone come to an end,
man what a fresh start and wave of rejuvenation it was when he joined JCW. I was convinced Vince was ready to retire and completely sail off having no interest in WWE or AEW programming, but it's been awesome seeing a guy who still has passion and pride in what he does continuing to write and make new stars. He reintroduced the world to
@TheBigVitoBrand and washed away the stink of how he was mishandled elsewhere, he's helped elevate and make bigger stars out of folks like Cokane, Kerry Morton,
@AliceCrowley19 or
@HollyHoodHaleyJ ...
It really has been awesome seeing JCWs views grow 4x in the last year, and seeing them do the little things that make pro wrestling have heart, like comedy, running gags, backstage interactions, week to week recaps and escalating storylines. Its not hard to do, its simple, but
@THEVinceRusso wherever he goes commits to believing in everybody on the roster and having a place for everybody and a plan, and you gotta give
@jcwlunacy and Violent J equal credit for their vision being in alignment and wanting the same things and the same presentation with heart and soul involved.
The fact Vince has continued to do it all these years later is why he is the man. Eventually if you continue to work hard and get results, you wash away a lot of the BS narratives people push about you.
