So weโre getting new shifts at work because of this @ASLEFunion dignity thing. Instead of my latest finish being at 0345, itโs now gonna be at 0630 because we now need to reduce start times between 0000-0500! Yeah. THANKS ASLEF!!!!

Train drivers and staff are heroes.
The driver had to call signal control to report that he was coming off the fast track and pulling up at Huntingdon. They then had to clear the track and direct him to a safe platform.
Next time they ask for fair pay, remember this.

And just so you know Emma, a lot of us think exactly the same as you too. Health care workers should absolutely be on a much better wage. Youโve been failed for too long.
I did not except this to get the reach it has. I wonโt be engaging with replies, but just want to say I believe ALL healthcare workers deserve to be paid significantly better for the work we do, and most public sector workers too. Salaries in this country are a joke. Love to all.

Tories put fares up by 23.7% whilst not giving train drivers any pay increase at all. So how is our salary all of a sudden linked to fare increases? Oh yeah, he needs to make a big song and dance about it now eh.

The government is putting rail fares up by more than inflation because it gave a large pay award to train drivers without requiring improved productivity. Nationalisation will cost us more and deliver less.

Immediate turnaround at terminus yesterday, set the cab up, guard closed the door, interlock light and then the GSMr beeped twice and the guard was not ready. Good job I donโt rush eh!
