If you want to get into concert photography, you don't need to buy a $2,000 camera and f/2.8 zooms. You don't need to start photographing bands in arenas. You don't even need a photo pass.
Take a camera to a local show. Be the photographer in your scene. Make images you love.

$2000 per night on Hotels and a $1200 Airbnb for five nights? I know not every band wants to sleep in THE VAN but for someone with a ~$500 guarantee this is just irresponsible and wasteful spending

This is b4 paying 10% $ to the booking agent and not including food expenses
Combination of staying in COVID safe places and gas prices is p devastating
