Lovely evening at @RoyalPhilSoc #RPSAwards and especially lovely that @nmcrecordings won the Gamechanger Award. I haven’t been a trustee long but I can already see why it’s richly deserved 🙌

The RPS Gamechanger Award is supported by @i_can_compose. It's presented by the RPS Board and Council to those who break new ground in classical music, as the Philharmonic Society founders set out to do in 1813. This year's Award goes to NMC Recordings @nmcrecordings. #RPSAwards

On 15th and 16th March 2025, @TheOHMITrust, in collaboration with Birmingham City University and @imperialcollege London, and Principal Supporter @ABRSM, will host a major conference exploring the barriers faced by people with physical disabilities to music-making, from the design and ongoing production of instruments to wide-ranging issues around performing. The event will also encompass the OHMI Competition awards.
This event aims to bring together perspectives and experiences from a wide range of people including disabled musicians, instrument makers, academic researchers from many different disciplines, teachers, charities, funders, and government agencies. Recently developed instrument designs will also be demonstrated.
