The stack:
react native, privy (social login wallets), reown,
base, eip-712 atomic settlement, coinbase onramp.
The unlock isn't the tech. it's that 3 friends in 3 countries can share and settle a dinner in 10 sec.

Almost 5 months building an expense-splitting app where the settlement actually happens on-chain.
USDC on Base, up to 20 people, one transaction. Nobody runs an approve. Nobody holds ETH for gas.

One opinion I'll defend: permit-style flows are underused. Half of what people call "crypto is confusing" is just approve UX.
EOAs permits work in every wallet today. That's why I skipped account abstraction for v1.
Least sure call so far.

Building this solo, it's called Spliz.
If you run relayers in production: how do you handle nonce management when several transactions land concurrently?
Redis-backed nonce manager works, but it feels like the part that breaks at 3am.

These past few months I’ve been through a lot with my project, Spliz.
Today I’m finally proud of the app I built end to end!
It’s still on TestFlight, and I need beta testers. I take every piece of feedback to heart 🙏
