Text reads: My entire family was in hospital last week after accidentally consuming poisonous mushrooms. My wife purchased a book from a major online retailer for my birthday. The book is entitled something similar to: "Mushrooms UK: A Guide to Harvesting Safe and Edible Mushrooms." It comes with pictures of the mushrooms to help identify each one. Unfortunately, the book in question was not accurate. A closer investigation reveals that the images of mushrooms are AI generated, and we have now found two instances of text where a sentence ends and is followed up with a random questions or fourth-wall breaking statements.

I'm concerned I would lose any evidence I have if I return it. The purchase has already disappeared from my online account. It simply looks like it doesn't exist anymore. I still have the email. 2.) Are my family entitled to any compensation for my son and my wife's lost time at work? As well as the sickness they experienced? 3.) Can I report the creation of this book to the police as a crime? Just for clarity: We did not know it was AI-generated when we bought it! This was not disclosed on the website!
ALT Is it weird that my (26M) gf (22F) wants me to send her weekly photos of my poo? So this is the situation, my girlfriend of 1 year has suddenly told me she has always been fascinated by poo. She says that our poo reflects our gut health (for context she’s a health nut). I was shocked and didn’t believe her when she told me this, so she showed me her album on her phone of her own dumps. There were hundreds of photos dating back as early as 2020. Now she wants me to send photos over text of my poops at least twice a week so she can analyse them and because she says she finds it interesting. I love her so much and the past year has been amazing and she has never done anything like this before. I’m not sure what to do, would it be weird if I started regularly sending her photos of my shit? I’m truly baffled
ALT My girlfriend (27 F) wants to move in with me (25 M) but she is making me uncomfortable. What do I do? My girlfriend (27F) and I (25M) are currently arguing because she wants to move in with me. I love my little pumpkin patch, but I’m getting cold feet about finding a place and it’s really upsetting her. She has a good job and I know will pay her half of rent and utilities, but she has this weird habit of staring at me while I sleep whenever she stays over at my place. It would be for an example, 3 in the morning and when I would have to use the restroom, she just stares blankly at me from the foot of me bed. I’ll ask her to come back to bed and she will, but it’s really unnerving and I try to avoid having her over. It sucks because I really love her, but i’m not sure if i can continue to do this long term. She won’t acknowledge the situation whenever I bring it up and gets really really defensive. What should I do?

ALT Reply by OP: I'll give the tamest example. My cousin is a talented singer. She is single and was supposed to sing a song during the ceremony. However she hooked up with the maid of honor. Whom nobody knew had that in her. Including her boyfriend. This happened in the bus. He got arrested for trying to break into the bus while this was going on and several people were cheering them on after locking him out.
ALT AITA for telling my aunt her new kitten looked like a scrotum? My mom and I were visiting my uncle and his family yesterday. My aunt just got a baby Sphinx cat. It is pink, hairless, and wrinkled. She was going on and on about how beautiful it was. I will be clear, it is a very cute kitten. I however think that expensive pets are a waste and that she could have adopted a rescue. When we were having dinner she was sitting with the kitten in her lap still going on about it. My uncle was rolling his eyes and my cousins were obviously getting tired of this as well. When she asked me for the tenth time how cute I thought it was I told her it kind of looked like a scrotum. My uncle laughed so hard he spit food all over the table. My one cousin also laughed but his little sister kept asking what a scrotum was. At home my mom told me I was an asshole for using that word at the dinner table. I stand by my comparison.
ALT Roommate won’t wait until I finish cooking and just starts cooking in the same pan I’m using and it’s just bizarre to me If I’m making bacon and eggs, he will just come and crack an egg into the pan for himself *while I’m cooking*. I’ve asked him to stop but he just says “well what difference does it make?”. He’s in the way! That’s the bloody difference, and I’ve told him that. And it’s not even that he is pressed for time. It happens on the weekends as well. He’s just done it again and he hasn’t listened to me the past 30 times I have asked him nicely so I cracked it and told him to fuck off and wait. I pushed his egg out of the pan into the bin and he said I have to pay for it. Not happening. I don’t understand why he can’t just wait 5 minutes. It doesn’t take that long. I don’t want someone in the way, using the same pan as me while I’m cooking for myself. Just came to vent.
