We have a new paper investigating how mosquito nutrition affects malaria development. Our findings suggest malaria parasites may actively adjust oocyst growth rate to best exploit nutritional resources. doi.org/10.3389/fmala.2024.1…

Today is world malaria day. Check out our website thereecelab.com to see how we use malaria as a model for studying ecology and evolution. We would also like to highlight the great work by @womeninmalaria and @SPPIRITnetwork for their help in fostering communities.

🚨New paper alert 🚨From her time in our lab, the amazing @evolutiomary demonstrates that the calling behaviour of male Pacific field cricket is a circadian trait and therefore could be a target for natural selection imposed by a parasitoid fly. So cool! doi.org/10.1093/beheco/arad0…
