Tough times, independent journalists must back each other. Russian propaganda depends on isolating voices and drowning out facts. Solidarity is how we fight that, and keep the truth alive. @CaolanReports
There are hundreds of incredible comments & thousands of views for my first article at Caolan.Report - I am so unbelievably grateful. Thank you so much for the feedback. It’s amazing to see so many people care about independent journalism at a time like this 🫡🥺

A couple of days ago, I had the honor and absolute pleasure of meeting Benjamin Wittes and @JimmySecUK. We spoke about life in Kharkiv, the war, and the challenges our city faces. Today, Benjamin shared his photo essay about Kharkiv with me, and I find it strikingly accurate. I encourage you to take a look. dogshirtdaily.com/p/kharkiv-…

Maia Sandu, the President of Moldova, has rejected her nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, asking instead for Ukrainian POWs to receive it: "Today, I was watching Ukrainian prisoners of war who returned home from Russia, these are the people who most deserve the Peace Prize!"

You’re crazy
Call me crazy but that shot at the end is classic information warfare - now everyone is going watch that voter fraud video, which is the real point. It drives traffic & captures the algorithm. Sure, there will be backlash. But what they are going to say about racism has been said a million times before.

Palantir pays a lot of professional advisors, image makers, lobbyists in the U.K. to keep them safe from proper scrutiny. The great irony of them having Mandelson working for them is that it’s exposing them to scrutiny as never before. They are a cancer that has to be removed.

Why is this useless gimp wearing combat gear and body armour to kick lumps of frozen water…?
Pro ICE gimp Jake Lang gets arrested for destroying an anti ICE statue. He was arrested after defacing an ICE protest ice sculpture, changing to words from “Prosecute ICE” to “Pro ICE.” He was booked into Ramsey County Jail after reportedly causeing $6,000 of damages.

Unbelievable that a man who spent US$75m on a film no-one wants to see about Melania Trump has just fired almost all the foreign correspondents on the newspaper he owns. You might think nothing was happening in this world. @JeffBezos @washingtonpost #SaveThePost

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is the single most significant international event of this century so far. The Washington Post closing their Ukrainian bureau in the middle of the war is inexplicably stupid.
Apparently The Post has laid off every reporter and editor covering the Middle East. Jerusalem bureau closed. Also Ukraine bureau closed.

Call it what it is. War.
Today in Florida, the Russian Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev held productive and constructive meetings as part of the U.S. mediation effort toward advancing a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. The American delegation included Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent, Jared Kushner, and White House Senior Advisor Josh Gruenbaum. We are encouraged by this meeting that Russia is working toward securing peace in Ukraine and is grateful for @POTUS’s critical leadership in seeking a durable and lasting peace.

Witkoff makes me sick with his "lots of good things happening" between russia and Ukraine What good things? Russia bombing a passenger train, blowing people to pieces, burning them alive, and forcing mothers with newborns to jump out of the train in terror for their lives? Or the humanitarian disaster Russia caused in Kyiv, where people freeze to death in their homes—especially the elderly, too weak and cold to seek help, with no phones to call anyone after days without power? Or maybe when Russia murders, with drones, a married couple simply walking away from the frontline? These are good things? This all happened this week, so WHAT GOOD THINGS, YOU MORONIC JERK?

There is a strange misconception in the U.S. government that the war in Ukraine is about the territory of Donbas. They believe it because... putin said so? They just cant stop repeating nonsense about giving up Donbas, right? It is not a war for Donbas. It is a war to destroy Ukraine as a state, strip away its independence, erase Ukrainian culture, expand the russian empire, and carve Putin’s name into history as a new emperor, or something close. In this context, giving up the most fortified territory of Ukraine - the remaining part of Donetsk region - without a fight would be the stupidest move. It simply cannot happen. Because once Russia takes the most fortified territory of Ukraine without resistance, it gains better ground to attack further, to reach its goal, and to destroy Ukraine. And it absolutely, undoubtedly will do just that.

Nobody here seriously believes that the United States, certainly under this administration, would go to war with Russia if it regrouped and attacked again, and it will. There is zero trust here in Trump, Witkoff or them being honest brokers of peace.
Nobody I speak to in Ukraine believes future Western "security guarantees" would be honoured if ever invoked. To believe they would, you have to believe Western countries would start a major war with Russia over Ukraine. This is incredible, in the truest sense of that word.
