#DidYouKnow that we have circular DNA in our cells? They are a normal part of our physiology, but they also play a role in the development of cancer and drug resistance. Check out our article, doi.org/10.1016/j.tig.2022.0… #Genomics #Cancer #eccDNA #Science #H2020

The mammalian genomes carry signatures that suggest circular DNA moved around blocks of genes between chromosomes. Check out our new article, "Did circular DNA shape the evolution of mammalian genomes?" doi.org/10.1016/j.tibs.2022.… #H2020 #ecdna

Part4: In the Atlas 2.0 of circular DNA we will now complete the Atlas by addressing the phenotypic consequences of circular DNA. Thank you! @novonordiskfond

Part3- Based on the first donation of 1.4 million DKK from @novonordiskfond , we have made the first draft Atlas of circular DNA across tissue of mice and we find that circular DNA mutations are constantly formed throughout life.
Part2 - We have already obtained extremely interesting results from the project and we will now be able to complete the Atlas of CIRCULAR DNA’, explains the coordinator of this project @gerardarrey Gerard Arrey Tané.

Part 1 - Thanks to a three million DKK grant from @novonordiskfond (NNF) we can continue our research project on an Atlas of CIRCULAR DNA across cells and tissues of mice.
