As everyone wakes up this morning either happy or sad, some thoughts from me for what they are worth.
1. I thoroughly enjoyed the World Cup despite my heartbreak at Irelands early demise.
2. At the end of the day there is no game without the ref. Massive respect to all in charge

8. Other stuff like talking to the ref and calling for cards and high tackles and diving should be removed immediately. You speak to the ref you are gone full stop! That used to be the way, only the captain should speak to the ref not every Tom Dick and Harry.

9. Finally, simplification of the laws,not more of them,is the only way forward to assist referees and allow them do their jobs efficiently. Mistakes will always happen but they can be minimized. Safety first, clarity second, consistency third and enforcement fourth. Thanks
