I picked this up at a used book store because the cover looked so raw. It really doesn’t fit the vibe and it wasn’t *great*, but I did learn it was written by Sang il-Lee’s close collaborator and he even directed an adaptation. Maybe it’ll work better for me in that form

Do younger people crave “edgier” stuff for lack of a better word? Like the type of movie that gets people in seats recently have been bleak horror outings and not some old-style blockbuster (regardless of quality). I know horror tends to do well but are they “more drawn” to it?
