For someone as incredible as Angellica Bell to think that she has somehow failed is a reflection of this country's failings not hers. The social climate of this country will convince a talented and confident Black woman that she is not enough when she is in fact magnificent.

This is the culmination of the decades-long dehumanisation of Diane Abbott in British political-cultural life. To stand up and be completely invisiblised, whilst her own party discuss death threats against her, knowing they care nothing about her safety, is surreal to witness.

Diane Abbott has criticised the Speaker after he failed to call on her during today's Prime Minister's Questions, despite standing up 46 times. trib.al/GE04BSN

I got arrested at Kings Cross station in 2011 because I apparently ‘smelt of weed’. I was on my way to college. I asked the officer politely to not be so aggressive. He called back up & I was arrested. I was given a caution on my record for ‘disturbing the public peace’.
Fellow Black people specifically, What have your experiences been like with the Police in the UK? (If you’re comfortable to share)
