ReScript 12 is here! A major step toward a leaner, faster, simpler toolchain. This release refines the language and embraces ReScript’s own identity. Blog: rescript-lang.org/blog/relea… Notes: github.com/rescript-lang/res… Huge thanks to everyone who helped move ReScript forward.

we love using ReScript & Elixir. Elixir is a perfect fit for managing our agent loops (GenServers / Phoenix), and ReScript is a blessing to manage the ever growing complexity of a React frontend codebase. Now that the agents are writing the code, there are no excuses left ppl

This year's retreat was a huge success! For 3 days, our contributors had time to connect, work on their agentic ReScript ideas, push forward big new syntax features, do talks, and most importantly, have a traditional Schnitzel dinner. Already looking forward to Retreat 2027!

Replying to @rescriptlang
@rescriptlang has been doing awesome work for years, building a joyful experience for web apps in a typed language. Jane Street can’t directly use ReScript for compatibility reasons, but I’m so excited that we get to spend some time together and share ideas with this community.

Live now: Our build system expert @JaapFrolich goes all controversial and shows us a rust converted version of the rescript compiler. Spoiler: He used 15k USD worth of llm tokens to build this experiment. Lots to unpack here 🚀

Surprise! We just kicked off our yearly retreat event 🚨 14 core contributors arrived in Vienna to hack on the language and ecosystem. This year's theme: "ReScript goes agentic" We want to thank our sponsors @JaneStreetGroup, CCA io and @KetryxHQ to help us make this happen! 👏

if you’re building anything with a frontend you should go check out frontman.sh! it solved the problem of letting your agent know what is actually rendered @DanniFriedland is really cooking with this — and its all written in @rescriptlang so you know its solid 💪
