Truly moving video, as Luis Enrique discusses the heartbreaking death of his 9-year-old daughter, who passed from bone cancer in 2019.
Amazing courage shown by current PSG manager, finding beauty from such profound tragedy ❤️❤️
From @MovistarFutbol's Enrique documentary.
Useful way to look at a given sport and evaluate performance impact avenues via S&C - is it a direct performance driver or are we looking for indirect success?
Strength training isn’t "supplemental" for rowers...
... it’s a direct performance driver.
Rowers w/ stronger legs and trunk extension strength have more power per stroke & faster times.
Similar findings to previous review by @FrankNugent10
Looking forward to presenting here on the physical development of the emerging player. Looking like a must attend for any directors of sport / golf within schools or golf academies

🌹 TIME FOR BEARD?
The 23 year old Quin has been around England squads for a while now.
It's time to start blooding the man that could be England's 13 for years to come.
Hits like a train, refuses to go down, and an eye for the try line.
I get Charley is training for different reasons than necessarily golf performance but proper ‘golf training’ is now training to be an athlete and I think you can see that across most professional tours
Congratulations on your 4th @DPWorldTour win @haotong_li !!
Haotong is a very strong athlete and has spent many years working on developing his all round strength and athleticism.
This video is from a few years ago, but was taken during a tournament week and shows that maintaining heavy lifting throughout the season is vital to maintain strength and power.
Typically in-tournament week training will involve heavy lifts but reduced volume so often 3 sets of x 3 to maintain high stimulus without creating excessive fatigue through the system. Combined with explosive exercises such as counter Movement jumps, weighted jumps, box jumps etc.
🚨Fully-funded PhD within elite level golf.

Exactly the type of info that seems too good to be true when you first study training science, and unfortunately it is! If only these were hard and fast rules, organising training would be far simpler…

With all the social media channels these days I often have guilt for missing messages / failing to reply to people reaching out with good honest networking agendas. Email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X, Instagram etc. it’s overwhelming, especially when balancing a young family at home…
and upholding commitments / meeting expectations of multiple clients. If I have not responded I apoogise but please don’t take that personally and refrain from reaching out again. Sometimes you just have to let some balls drop and prioriise…
