hi! it’s definitely down to preference, the manga is actually a very easy read but i understand the fried attention span because i’ve dealt with it too. i’ll always say to do the manga, but, i started with the anime without knowing anything. it seems your already aware that

urusei yatsura remake is supposed to be a “best of” but i think the chapters chosen to animate were very odd? and the lack of oyuki and benten episodes despite using them for all the merch… but the merch IS cute.
i think it’s too early to tell with some mao stuff…
