Ferrari 500 Mondial - bit of speed painting in photoshop - the source pic was from an issue of @octane_magazine I am working up to having a go at some proper painting, with proper paint and canvas….
Back to the drawing board this week after time away. Several pieces to be finished, and few larger ones to make progress on and a summer spent sketching to plan. Plenty of opportunities to look scruffy. 😉
My Rover - fresh from its TV debut, now liveried up thanks to the fab folks at @Missionmotorspt - the amount of people involved in its restoration is staggering to me. Very undeserved, but hugely grateful and humbled by people’s compassion and generosity.
I must confess that we are both a bit nervous about watching ourselves and hearing our story being told tonight on Car SOS - suddenly having a whole audience of people hearing about something we as a family have weathered through this past 18months is really quite daunting. 1/4
But I am also conscious (a timely reminder) that May is Mental Health month.
However, in all of this I am just so very grateful and humbled (and not a little overwhelmed) - and there are so many people who made it all possible; so many people to thank, - 3/4
they say that Car SOS is not a car program - it’s about people and their stories - well you can hear our story tonight on National Geographic channel at 8pm.
Thanks too to @A1GOY for some very special Wilbur pictures.

2 great ‘small’ cars on our driveway over the past six weeks - Mrs Revs and I are enjoying our time as road testers. Obviously if anyone else would like two revs to try their motors then we are very willing - Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo spring to mind 😂😂
The Panda goes back to its home habitat today - we will miss the ease at which it does urban transport so well. This and Renault's 4 and 5 are a real tonic to same again EV design that seems to proliferate on our roads. Character, good design and a bit of nostalgia pay dividends.
Some curses of a lot of modern cars.
1. Greasy fingerprinted touchscreens
2. Nannying from electronic driver aids. Although fortunately the Panda allows for some deactivation.

Cheeky evening McFlurry run in the panda. I love the smoothness of the EV powertrain and the Panda’s even has a faint sound - Mrs Revs likens it to an ambulance - which can result in much frantic looking around for a place to safely pull over 😂
Just put a little pastel on a sketch from my recent visit to Goodwood for the Members meeting. Good job I didn’t get my pastels out on site - my encounter with the management might have sent them positively apoplectic.
