Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe in new interview: "Later this year, we'll have full supervised point-to-point, which will be very similar to @Tesla's FSD. That will roll out to all of our Gen 2 vehicles and, of course, R2. Next year, we'll allow it to go unsupervised, so you can take your eyes off the road. The next step is achieving full capability for the vehicle to drive itself with no one in the car. We've been developing that for a while for our personal vehicles, but we also see it unlocking new business models, robotaxi being one of them. Elon Musk isn't the only one getting richer from SpaceX going public. The stock’s surge is estimated to have turned about 4,400 current and former employees into millionaires through equity compensation accumulated during their time at the company. SpaceX’s long-awaited IPO raised a record $75 billion, valuing the company at roughly $1.8 trillion. The offering also pushed Musk’s estimated net worth past the $1 trillion mark, further cementing his position as the world’s richest person. Now Wall Street is watching to see whether the stock's early trading can drive SpaceX’s valuation even higher, rewarding employees and investors who backed the company during its rise.

Last week, I attended the @ElonMusk and Jamie Dimon @SpaceX discussion at J.P. Morgan. Jamie asked Elon how he had changed over the past 20 years as a leader and a person. Elon's answer wasn't about success. It was about what's next. He said he has learned a lot...has made mistakes and still has much to learn... Then he added, “I think maybe the future AI will say ‘not bad for a human’." Elon, thank you so much for what you've done for humanity. Congrats to you, @Gwynne_Shotwell, @BretWJ, and the entire team. What is even more remarkable... this feels like day one, that you are just getting started. PS. When people ask "what is the next SpaceX and who is the next Elon?" Simple answer. There is NO NEXT!!! Elon Musk is a mensch!

Haven’t posted about FSD V14.3.4 yet, but I like all the new messages that display on screen. This is the kind of stuff a robotaxi would show. • “Vehicle will pull over near destination” • “Approaching destination. Will pull over near destination” • “Driving to Market Basket” • “Driving Home” In terms of driving impressions, V14.3.4 has eliminated my steering wheel jitter issues, although parking alignment could still use some work with faded lines. Low speed confidence is improved. Highway behavior is good too. The new “Pull Over” feature, which replaces the Curbside drop-off, seems to pull over more often in the front of where your actual destination is, but need to test that more to confirm. No change to Actually Smart Summon (although Cybertruck owners are getting it!), but still using it a lot and liking it. Lastly, I really need pothole avoidance lol. Hopefully that launches soon!
