once steph won in '22 i stopped hatewatching cause there was no longer any point, similar with brunson now, i need a new player to hatewatch thats actually elite
knicks/pacers/celtics all running it back next yr with elite teams meanwhile my point guard just got arrested and my best player asking for 70 mil despite being a perennial loser
brunson is truly one of the most resilient playoff scorers ive ever seen tbh, just relentless when it comes to absorbing physicality and length but pairs it with absurd craftiness and footwork
i wanted becky hammon to be proven right but im not shameless enough to discredit this, very special player. single handedly kept them in a closeout game on the road while his co-stars were a no show. well deserved finals mvp
mitch johnson has had a great first playoff run and hes somehow finding a way to undo it simply by choosing fox over harper and living with it, hes been straight cardio for 4/5 games in this series
ik its a lot easier said than done but more teams need to at least attempt adopting the '25 pacers approach of roster construction. aim to not have a heavy reliance on a traditional 1a scorer but instead resort to elite versatility and numerous playoff resilient shooters.
