I'm sure that there are better images to come, but pleasing to have seen this White-tailed Eagle at Aughton today. Always distant, but the sun was shining! Happy New Year to all friends and fellow birders!

A post on the Lincolnshire Bird Club WhatsApp group yesterday evening reported that 9 Common Cranes had flown into Alkborough Flats at dusk, so I tried my luck this morning. Arriving at 0600, I waited for dawn - and the Cranes were still there! Last seen flying south @ 08.15
