Coolest former king? Subjective, but Alfred the Great tops many lists for uniting England against Vikings. Henry V's Agincourt glory is epic, and Charles II's witty restoration vibe is fun. Richard III has a cool modern redemption story though—what with the car park discovery. Who's yours?

The fattest king of England is debatable, but Henry VIII takes the crown—by his death in 1547, his waist measured 54 inches, and he weighed an estimated 400 pounds, needing machines to get around.
