So @FATALFURY_PR has taken over my gaming life in a way that I didn't expect!
As a young gamer, I ALWAYS would rent and play the Fatal Fury games on Genesis. So this game is scratching incredible nostalgic itches for me.

Finally caught up on a bunch of #Daredevil Born Again episodes and my God, this show is perfection! *chef's kiss* THANK YOU, Marvel, for delivering us a quality superhero TV series. This feels like we can go on for a few good seasons.

Saw #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld over the weekend and it was a solid MCU movie. Good, not great. I'd give it a 7.5/10. It was good enough for me to have a good time but also flawed enough for me to see why it was getting mixed/negative reviews from critics.

But the post-credits scene was not worth the wait. While I have LOVED the #MCU tradition of the post-credits scene, if they're going to be this disposable, they shouldn't bother. Post-credits scenes HAVE to surprise and delight. That's what makes them worth waiting for.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making our Parent-Teacher Conferences a success. We were able to feed our amazing teachers who stayed at the school until 6 pm to meet with parents after MP1 report cards came out. This is building community unity!

I watched the #VMAs last night for the first time in years. I didn't know who a good 40% of the people were, but it wasn't completely unwatchable. The idea of Nicki as a "host" though was not really meaningful though, as she barely hosted the show.

One thing #SecretInvasion confirmed was that the #MCU six-episode model is a complete misstep. (Loki being the only exception) It needs to seriously stop because the storytelling is suffering. 😒

I think the Marvel Studios needs to take a step back from Disney series after #SecretInvasion.
It started off ok and even got good during the middle, but the last two episodes were a mess. Plot lines that made no sense, character arcs just abruptly aborted. WTH? 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

Also, I don’t know if this an unpopular take, but this series made me not like Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury by the finale. He was cartoonish and buffoonish in ways I didn’t get or expect. They can go ahead and recast or give us the Nick Fury Jr version of this character please.

I will say, that the idea of Fury marrying a Skrull was a great way to cement his link with them. And I thought the relationship between Fury and Varra was perfect and the most compelling thing in the series…until the cheesy ending in the finale spoiled it.
