One of the more important curves for predicting the future. Another is the Wh/$ curve for batteries. Exponential curves are incredibly hard for most people to internalize.
This is the PV experience curve. My team and I have been maintaining this version since 2007. I reckon I'm a bit of an expert on it. The thing about the law of the experience curve, it's really more like a set of guidelines.

During that long chain of insignificance you'll hear about the thing, but part of your brain will look around and observe (correctly!) "cool idea, but this has had basically no impact on the world" Think home computers in the 70s or covid in Feb 2020

Generally the best time to react to an exponential trend is when it feels embarrassingly early. Solar and wind are insignificant most places. Just a few percent of generation. But it's doubling every few years.

github.com/WebKit/WebKit/pul… This was an interesting experiment. The streaming version of declarative shadow DOM is ~7% faster than the non-streaming version. With some tricks, we minimized the HTML parser changes, and now we have a rough consensus to go with the this approach. 🚀

ROBLOX developers can now import ANIMATIONS from a video - and an AI will process a video onto your avatar and generate a keyframe animation! You can find videos of the process on @sleitnick & @RobloxTrackers page! This is a completely free tool developers can use! 🕺
