ALERT: Man suspected of shoplifting from Trader Joe's dies after being chased by police and run over by a car that was not paying attention. The incident happened as San Francisco police officers were chasing the suspected shoplifter on foot. While detaining the man, a Lexus SUV drove straight into the situation and hit everyone involved, pinning an officer underneath the car. The suspect was pronounced dead, and the police officers were transported to the hospital in non-life-threatening condition. San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie said he has spoken to the officers and wishes them a speedy recovery.

A lot of people have been asking how they can help with my case. The Commonwealth must prove that my INTENT was to cause emotional injury to witnesses, with the INTENT that it would interfere with or obstruct with an ongoing criminal matter (the Karen Read trial). We know that this wasn't my intent, and I've probably stated what my intent really was thousands of times in old videos. Lawyers for all parties are now heading into a breakout room to discuss the nature of Michael Proctor's deposition. The hearing is not yet over, as Judge Gildea wants an update from Karen Read's counsel about how long this deposition will take before the end for the day. Shock and awe ruling from Judge Gildea right there, as to denying Proctor's request for a proactive order to delay his deposition. Proctor lost on every prong of the motion. He clarifies that he wants his followers to do what he cannot currently do lest he be arrested, and make the victims in his case "uncomfortable." If even 10 people takes the time to ask Michael Morrissey why he continues to allow not only witnesses, but crime victims, to continually endure harassment and intimidation while the defendant openly flouts conditions of his pretrial release, literally for years now, maybe the system will finally do something. He's not directly involved in the case, because he handed it off due to a phantom "conflict" that would exist in no other county in this country (lest defendants would just grind the system to a hault by criticizing prosecutors online to have their case conflicted out), but the prosecutor who is routinely is in the NCDA office, so I'm sure someone will get him the message.
