grok, what does a few cards short of a full deck look like?
The recent court decision in Waterloo Region is letting a homeless encampment stand in the way of transit, homes and jobs that Ontario badly needs. It’s a ridiculous decision that I hope is swiftly overturned. If not, Ontario is prepared to use every tool at our disposal to move this project forward.

Hundreds of thousands of charges against drivers, including careless driving, speeding, dooring and failing to stop, are being withdrawn before trial as one judge says Ontario’s provincial offences court system is in “shambles.” share.google/bpUBqTk5ZVGyjCj…

2006, Alberta premier Ralph Klein is endorsed by just 55 per cent of delegates, even though he’d previously announced his intention to retire in 2008. He resigns a few months later. A brief history of leadership reviews durhamregion.com/news/a-brie… via @newsdurham

I have no personal interest, other than as a life long Liberal. This was a leadership review and the result fell well below the standard for continuing leadership.
I think it should be pointed out to Team Nate that Bonnie Crombie won the leadership with 53% of the vote of the entire membership, and now has the confidence of 57% of delegates who paid to be there. #olp #OLPAGM #onpoli

Agree
John Tory (like Joe Clark) got only 66 per cent in his leadership review and even then it wasn't enough – his party wanted him gone. Not good omens for Bonnie Crombie. #onpoli

How bad was that result? Can't even face the press.
NEW: Bonnie Crombie cancels a planned post-results scrum with media after receiving a 57% endorsement from party delegates. While a constitutional win, it fell short of the 2/3rds majority needed to claim a decisive victory. #onpoli

NEW - Bonnie Crombie received 57% support from liberal delegates, and vowed to stay on as leader claiming she has support from caucus, but Liberal MPP Tyler Watt claims she never asked caucus members for that support.

Time for change.
BREAKING: Ontario Liberals vote 57% against calling a new leadership - which means Bonnie Crombie is technically safe. However, hearing she wasn’t afforded an endorsement from the Liberal caucus as a whole. #onpoli
