πŸ™ Thankyou WA ✌️ This is a simple short appreciation post from us to you. West Weather Watchers started way back in '99 when it was called WA Weather group. A group of crew who went chasing on the weekend, came together once a month and plugged their cameras and video recorders into the TV, showing like minded weather enthusiasts the dramatic, and sometimes not that dramatic storms they had chased around the state. Moving onto a forum, then onto FB/Twitter, we developed a team and reported primarily severe warned storms and warnings from around the state when we had time. Changing the name to West Weather Watchers late 2024, then people moved, interests changed, and families were had, meaning that I was left to run this by myself. Late last year we got hacked and had to start all over again after loosing 25k of friends - now I have the family, with a 3 year old and a newborn, and we are more passionate than ever to bring you as much quality information as possible through the bottle feeds and sleepless nights. We want to thank you WA for your continued support and content you supply from around this brilliant state we all live in. Cheers Tom. ✌️

The mouse population in parts of wa is out of hand @APVMA seems to not have an interest in doing anything about an emergency permit for us. All knowing full well that 25 g active mouse bait is not effective. The numbers we have are the worst I’ve seen.

If you were wondering why directing diesel to regional Australia is in the national interest: All the operations behind the astounding productivity growth in ag - are the things that have stopped with the parked up tractors right now.

Farmers & agronomists: Running a quick survey on cropping and livestock apps you use, would greatly appreciate some responses, only 10 questions. Survey πŸ‘‡ forms.gle/cX7Fko3k3pVEB2PW8

According to Mick Daw on today's country hour, despite the same outloading capacity, Albany shipped nearly twice as much grain in January as Geraldton. But nothing to see here regarding gero basis, everything is fine, nothing on our part. Evidence suggests otherwise.

18/11. Today's significant weather threat map from @EWNAlerts Today we expect to see Isolated to scattered storms in some northern and western parts of the state, tending to sparse activity in the far southwest. We expect that potential exists for one or two of the storms in central parts of the west briefly becoming severe for localised damaging winds a short burst of locally heavy rainfall, and a small chance of large hail. Please remain data-driven and weather-ready today. Please share our updates and encourage friends and family to follow us, and as always #keepyoureyesontheskies
