It's hard to express what this game means to me, I started this project shortly after losing my father and immediately felt safe. The story wrapped me up in a wonderfully warm world where the characters were going through many of the emotions I was myself struggling with.

Iโm in awe of Broken Sword Reforged @RevSoftGames! Itโs stunning in so many ways, not least the tech behind the scenes! So lovingly updated that not one thing feels out of place. I played the original so many times I know it inside out! It feels new, but also like coming home.

After a little research I discovered the cause was a wonky script,.The script skipped over the pick up command if you were playing as Annie. This also affected the DOS V1 build but was addressed in the later V2 editions. See the decompiled scripts below.

I pushed a fix for this to ScummVM, but Martin Wendt/enthusi went one step further and has created a patch for the C64 disk images.
