Sir Olly Robbins came over as calm, intelligent, thoughtful, principled, thorough, decent and honest. And a lot more impressive than any of our current Govt. Can we get rid of Starmer and make him Prime Minister?

Keir Starmer, 2020: "When they made mistakes, I carried the can. I never turn on my staff and you should never turn on your staff." Olly Robbins has now been sacked. Morgan McSweeney resigned. Tim Allan resigned. Sir Chris Wormald resigned. Starmer should be the one resigning.

Mandelson was appointed on 20 December 2024. Olly Robbins became Perm Sec of the Foreign Office on 8 January 2025. PM should have asked about vetting before the announcement. If he was lied to, why is that Robbins’ fault? Vetting happens BEFORE an appt. Robbins wasn’t there.

The Prime Minister appointed Peter Mandelson before the vetting had been completed, vetting Mandelson failed. Starmer then said full due process was followed. THAT is misleading Parliament. I'm only holding him to the same standards to which he’s held previous Prime Ministers - that if they mislead parliament, they should resign. In these dangerous times, Britain cannot afford to have a Prime Minister who the country doesn't trust. Starmer has betrayed our national security. He should go.

So…are we really expected to believe that FCDO officials just stood by as the Prime Minister repeatedly perjured himself to the Commons over the last six months - and not a word was said?

It is preposterous for Starmer to claim he did not know Mandelson failed security vetting. If the Prime Minister doesn’t know what’s happening in his own office, he shouldn’t be in charge of our country. He should go.

So apart from trying to give away the Chagos islands. Recognising Palestine. 13 ministerial resignations. Showing full confidence in Morgan McSweeney, Peter Mandelson, Sue Gray and Lord Ali. Blaming the far right for an island of strangers. 16 Policy U turns and rising. Having no operable warships. Not smashing the gangs. Approving a huge Chinese embassy in London. Spending 23 seconds laying a wreath in Southport only to rush back to a drinks party. Appointing an anti Muslim hostility tsar. Raising income tax. Raising inheritance tax. Raising national insurance. Raising capital gains tax, Raising council tax. Raising value added tax. Raising mansion tax. Increasing welfare spending and the minimum wage whilst freezing tax allowances. Scrapping jury trials. The only boat he has stopped is HMS dragon from crossing the channel. What has Starmer really achieved apart from breakfast clubs and the decay of our country?
