ok since a lot of people were mad that I said chinese trains were better than EU ones,
I decided to try the trains in France and they were pretty amazing:
Nice seats, pretty fast, not too crowded and costed me around 4€.
So I will definitely be taking them more.
The big problem is just going between multiple countries and reliability.
Eg now they just canceled every single train today so I have to take an uber anyways
I rarely travel by train in europe.
To be honest I might’ve never done a train journey for more than 1h there.
But it’s because it doesn’t make any sense, the trains are so inefficient and a flight is literally 4x faster and cheaper
Now I’m in china and had to go from Chongqing to Zhangjiajie so taking the train was a nobrainer.
Like it was 20€ and only 2hours.
The rail network here is crazy comeon the rest of the world needs to lock in.
