If you want to understand why I needed to reduce my teaching load, and why I’m retiring, this explains it all.

Yet more BS from Brett to fertilize his rage farming. 15 minute city planning does not restrict anyone to staying within their local community, but it does plan so that frequently used services like groceries, recreation, and health are within a reasonable distance of homes.
Total nonsense. People BUY or RENT their homes and have the right to work and play and school and eat and shop where ever they damn well please. This is about control. Nothing more. Council ⁦for @CityofEdmonton⁩ can FO.

Canada is not broken. It’s worth considering why some people work so hard to convince us that it is, who is funding them, and what’s the agenda of the people holding the purse strings.

Does the premier mean this ruling: scc-csc.ca/case-dossier/cb/2… Read it over carefully - I think your claim is quite contradictory to the facts of the ruling.

Let’s talk about the rule of law… I would ask the former Environment Minister to recognize that the Supreme Court and Federal Court ruled TWICE against unconstitutional and illegal federal policies. Scott Moe is an honourable Premier who has tried using diplomacy many times, asking Ottawa’s Liberals to follow the rule of law. I sincerely hope that 2024 brings a change of attitude and perspective from the federal Liberals in how they approach dealing with Canadian provinces under the constitution.

You can disagree with the law, and you can disagree with the policies of the federal government, but they are by rule of law the duly elected federal government.

Sales tax under NDP was 5%, and raised to 6% by SK party in 2017, and it was expanded to include children’s clothing, property renovations, and equipment related to oil and gas industry. Historically, NDP governments in SK have had smaller budget deficits.

ALT False GIF

The NDP have no credibility and no plan when it comes to affordability. Provincial taxes were much higher when the NDP was government than they are today.   And it's the NDP in Ottawa who are keeping the carbon tax in effect by propping up the Trudeau government. I recently took the opportunity to remind the NDP of their record of high taxes and our government's record of tax reductions and affordability measures for Saskatchewan people.

Where/when are parents being excluded? In over 30 years of teaching, I’ve never seen that happen. We welcome and encourage parental involvement.
The Parental Inclusion and Consent policy is about including parents in decisions involving their children’s education. Why does the NDP want to keep parents in the dark?

Parents have never been kept in the dark. Regardless of which party forms government, teachers are always welcome to discuss their child’s progress and the content taught in class. How about legislation to fix school roofs? Or include class size in negotiations?
Today the Parents Bill of Rights Act was introduced in the House. Unlike the NDP who want to keep parents in the dark, your Saskatchewan Party government will ensure parents are a part of every important decision involving your child’s education. saskatchewan.ca/government/n…

And yet when teachers and health care workers ask for a pay increase that matches inflation, they will try to say we are greedy or out of touch with the economic realities.
Saskatchewan’s strong and growing economy broke another record in 2022! Mineral sales reached an all-time high of $19.4 billion, more than doubling the previous record. Saskatchewan has what the world needs and the success of our natural resource sector is providing more jobs and opportunities in every corner of our province. That’s growth that works for everyone.

Haven’t been here for a lifetime or two, but seeing this made me come back just to retweet this brilliant sentiment!
If this were it for you, what would your last 25(ish) social media posts say about you? Are you kind, thoughtful, & just? Do you care about the world & about those in it? Do you strive to make the world a better place & inspire others to do the same? What's your digital legacy?

If you want to better understand why government isn’t willing to commit to a safe back-to-school plan, look no further than the “No Masks Sask” FB group. This is just a small sample of the delusional, loud minority that drives public policy. facebook.com/groups/32966738…

The Minister has no excuses left to not do what should have been done back in June. And get these funds out the door to schools without delay.
