Folks, I'm quitting twitter. I've had many great conversations over the years, & made a lot of friends, but since EM took over, I really don't want to give twitter any more of my attention. See you all in the Fediverse :)

I'm coming to the conclusion that La Gitana ain't that great for Rob Roys. There's something about sherry which seems to impart the wrong sort of bitterness

Just cracked a can of Neck Oil. Sulphur. Anybody else had this recently?

I don't have any Amer Picon to hand, let alone Amer Bière, but I do have a cracking orange-y beer, and a sherry-forward vermouth. Pretty tasty. Once again, Idaho 7 shows itself to be the best of hops

Sadly I'm travelling tomorrow, but you should definitely go see Drew and Chris if you can
We're at #WeAreInDrinks Glasgow today and tomorrow. Here Chris is sellotaping our stand back together because we spend our money on casks and not stands. Come and join us for a dram if you're attending.

The terroir exploration continues. This was Sunday night: two Stoke Reds from #WildingCider, the One Juice project, and three Three Cherries

Can we taste salt in #whisky? There's only one of the #Dramface team to turn to with such a question - Tyree. He pours a tasty #Ledaig 10yo from Black Corbie to consider it and share his take. bit.ly/3mn2Wuz

It's weird how the emergency response will see more vehicles on the road, parallel recycling systems for glass, customers making more journeys and up-cycling companies being punished for re-using items rather than putting them to recycling. Who really benefits from this #DRS ?
"We are in a climate emergency, and it needs an emergency response. Scotland's DRS will be an important part of that response." 💚🌍♻️ greenworld.org.uk/article/de…

So @lornaslater announced today that 90% of products on the shelves have been registered with @Circ_Scotland . That is great news. What she didn't mention was that that 90% of products came from 664 of 4500 producers as they were the only ones that registered...
