COACH LAUNCH Excited to announce Coach, an opinionated reviewer for product documents. (Link in comments) AI has made it trivially easy to ship products. The harder question now is knowing what to ship. Taste and judgment: what to build, why now, where it will go wrong. Add to this that everyone in the org is building products now. Engineers, designers, marketers, finance leaders. Alignment matters more than it ever did. A team of ten people each shipping in their own direction at AI speed is a worse outcome than one person shipping the right thing slowly. The tools we use to align - product strategy docs, PRDs, roadmaps, OKRs, one-pagers - are often imprecise, poorly framed, and confidently wrong. They give the team the comfortable feeling of alignment without actually aligning anyone. That's the gap I built Coach to close. Coach is a senior reviewer for product docs. You paste your draft: PRD, strategy doc, roadmap, OKRs, one-pager. Coach reads it the way a head of product would. Coach asks if the problem statement is actually a problem, if the metrics measure outcomes or activity, if the AI claims have an eval plan, if the roadmap is fiction past 8 weeks. You get a structured, opinionated review back: by axis, with verdicts, with the questions a real reviewer would push on. Three decades of compounding product judgment and 1000 coaching sessions with founders, applied to your doc, in two minutes. Coach is a labor of love. It brings to reality my opinionated POV on how to build products. I built it because I see too many founders, PMs, and product-curious people across functions writing docs that look right but don't survive contact with a good reviewer. Coach is that reviewer. Transcribe was my first solo product. Coach is my evergreen one. This is v0.5, with a lot more planned. I hope you find it helpful as you build products.
