For my CosmosSDK and L1 frens... What actually happens when you submit a transaction on-chain? (Transaction Life-Cycle:: CosmosSDK Example) Most people think it’s instant magic… but under the hood, your transaction goes through a whole journey before it’s final. Here’s the life-cycle in plain English: On the Basic Level:- You build & sign your transaction → A node receives it → It does quick checks (like “is this transaction even valid?”) → If it passes, it waits in the mempool → A validator proposes a block with your tx inside → Other validators agree through consensus → The block is executed, state updated, and finally committed to the chain. At this point, your transaction is finalized, recorded forever on the blockchain. I made a simple diagram to help you visualize the entire flow step-by-step 👇
