ALT Peggy Wolley Writes
I see veteran broadcaster David Dimbleby is claiming to have been on the BBC longer than anyone else on Earth (RT, 27 August). Sorry, David, the BBC gave me a lifetime achievement award for a 70-year career in radio drama from 1943, and I went on to do another nine years with The Archers before retiring last month at the age of 103. May David continue on to beat my 79 years!

So are all these appearances by village folk, e.g., Kathy, Usha, Mike, Amy, Hannah (there may have been others), a prelude to the changing of the guard at #TheArchers with introductions of new folk, Vince, daughter, etc.?
📢📢FIVE EPISODES INFO 📢📢 #TheArchers returns to Sunday evenings from 15th August. The first of these new five episode weeks will be written by @keridavies Can't wait!
Where will you be listening on Sunday evenings?
