In the best case scenario, Trump struck a deal to reopen a Strait that was open before the pointless war he started, with the IRGC demonstrating its control over the Strait and potentially extracting fees plus sanctions relief. Thousands of innocents - including hundreds of children - dead in Lebanon and Iran for no reason. U.S. troops killed and wounded. U.S. embassies and bases in the Middle East badly damaged. U.S. standing in the world obliterated. U.S. munitions badly depleted. Hundreds of billions spent. Prices up everywhere. More global economic fallout to come. Putin strengthened and enriched. Just a catastrophic situation even in the best of circumstances. A profoundly shameful episode in American history no matter what happens next.

Man with stubble, "Small boats arrivals are 37,000. There are over 4 million kids in child poverty. And 4.5 million who can't get a dentist appointment" #BBCQT "We spend 90% of the media discourse on the 37,000. How much more could we achieve if we put that effort into the 4.5 million?" Well said that man πŸ‘

Traitors brilliantly exposes the human flaw that makes us blind to villainy, even when it's staring us in the face. Every politician should heed the warning mol.im/a/15246725

While we’re talking about politicians and tax, a reminder that Nigel Farage works for a company that exists to help rich people avoid tax.

Genuinely pains me… The very people who’ll be hurt most by Farage’s policies are the ones cheering him on He votes against sick pay Against ending fire&rehire He wants to privatise the NHS What will it take for you to see he’s not on your side? He gives you someone to blame, so you look the other way while he lines his pockets Wake up You’re being played by a millionaire who wouldn’t last 5 mins living your life.

THIS IS UNREAL: In a stunning moment, Trump and JD Vance ganged up on President Zelensky in the White House in a yelling match, insisting he's not grateful enough while clearly showing a bias for Putin. This is an unmitigated disaster!

This is utterly repulsive! Trump and Vance just tried to humiliate Zelensky live on American TV, smugly demanding gratitude while openly mocking him like playground bullies counting favors. My respect for Zelenskyβ€”and my embarrassment as an Americanβ€”just surged off the charts. I’m beyond disgusted!”

I like Ed Davey. This is an important point about foreign interference. Not just Reform being in the pockets of a billionaire but the important (and shockingly underreported fact) that the Tories were bought by Russia. Go Ed πŸ‘πŸ»
