Thank you & farrrewell for now
We first cooked up the idea for a multi-opinion Arts review blog in a beer garden in 2020. Over the following four years rrramble kept expanding and evolving, growing into an online platform with a brilliant team of writers, editors and illustrators, sharing their views on everything from Hamlet to Diana: The Musical.
rrramble was born out of an ambition to redistribute power & influence within Arts reviewing, and we are proud to have grown a community full of incredibly talented, generous and opinionated people, who believe that Arts writing/reviewing should be as diverse as the audiences it seeks to represent. We have never been paid for the work we do, and everyone involved with rrramble has contributed to the platform solely because they believe in its mission.
ALT All good things must come to an end, and sadly we no longer feel that we have the time, capacity or resource to continue this work at the standard it deserves. So, we have taken the difficult decision to put rrramble on an indefinite hiatus: just think of it as the One Direction of arts reviewing.
Our website will remain active (no way could we deprive the world of access to our lockdown review of an immersive art piece involving going for a swim in the bath…) and we’ll be periodically checking the inbox, but we won’t be posting anything new or checking our socials.
Thank you so much to our incredible team, past and present, and to everyone who has read our rrreviews and rrrambles over the past 4 years. We hope you’ve enjoyed agreeing - and more importantly, vehemently disagreeing - with all the hot takes and artsy recommendations you’ve found here.
Big love,
Abs, Ellie & Georgia x

We are so back!
The year is 2024, rrramble is publishing great reviews and British people are still drunkenly singing "Mr Brightside" at every club night. These two phenomena collide in this rrretrospective on The Killers's iconic album Hot Fuss.
