Another challenge I hear from customers in fabric has been that there are too many ways to do the same thing which results in inconsistency. Announcing user defined data functions in fabric notebooks (which can be called via external APIs) to re-use code snippets!

Whilst Power BI users love the developer features of fabric for enterprise reporting, for the data engineers used to Azure the criticism has always been that it doesn't go far enough - it needs dynamic CI/CD, SPN support and a command line interface!!

1. @FTC has taken action against Adobe and two executives for pushing people into subscriptions and then making it absurdly hard to cancel.
Adobe ambushed users with hefty "early termination fees" and threw up obstacles when people tried to cancel.

The announcement at #fabcon of Metric sets - a new layer in #microsoftfabric that allows for the creation of re-usable measures (with corresponding dimensions) means that organisations can have logic centralised and catalogued so they can build enterprise level data products!
