@happygeek A heads up that the Eufy Security web site (and from what I can tell their entire back-end operation) has been down since the early hours today. It’s brought many/most home security systems to a stop. No news about it anywhere from what I can tell

I’m thinking of Open Sourcing the automated system I’ve written and use for optimising use of the @OctopusEnergy Agile Tariff. It’s specifically written for @Solis_Inverters. I’ll need to build out a proper web-based management/monitoring sub-system so it will take a while

I run the system on a server in the cloud, but it can be run on any available computer. It will be ideal for running on a @Raspberry_Pi.

My iPhone updated to iOS 18 overnight. Spent several hours fixing gmail (still not entirely sorted), and now disabled the ghastly dark icons that show up by default when it gets dark. Why do Apple continually have to fix things that weren’t broken in the first place? 🤷🏻♂️😖
