Spent the whole night chasing a record on a quantum circuit benchmark (
ecdsa.fail).
That got me to ~190 GPUs across 4 providers (RunPod, Vast, Verda), ~2.5M candidates a second, 8 hours straight.nel on the fly, self heals when a node dies or stalls, and offloads the heavy verification to the
idle CPUs of the GPU machines. It auto submits the second it finds a result that beats the leader, and the submission never leaves my own machine.

The good part: I independently landed on the exact same winning config as the leader. The analysis was right.
The hard part: ran out of GPU credits mid hunt, and two competitors with standing GPU fleets grabbed the same result first. One on GPT-5 Codex. i was using Opus 4.8
