It’s why I’d rather put interest on a rugby euro comp every 4 years.
Run it in the middle of the World Cup cycle (2029, 2033 etc) during the summer. Better longterm plan than the Lions, and if 🏴 🏴 🏴 ☘️ want to send weakened teams that’s their choice.

I doubt he’ll get any game time but still glad to see his inclusion. Wonder if Eben is injured? Even if Rassie says there isn’t a lock crisis, the fact that our 4 World Cup winning locks are near retirement is a crisis itself

Norton needs to prove himself to be a very good player at ACTUAL senior rugby (not u20, not currie cup, not varsity... URC!). Otherwise, he's just going to be another Salmaan Moerat. Good height, good talker, good leadership, but at best ineffective and at worst, a liability...
Who okes slow your roll and calm tf down. Norton first needs to prove himself at Test level. This same hype happened when Sacha had his debut.

wtih Salmaan and Reuben gone, he needs to seize his opportunities with the Stormers. He needs to play with the physicality of a 2013 Etzebeth and with the brains of Matfield. I think he can do it, just study harder, bulk up more, grow another 2 inches.. :)

I know most fans think Siya, Jesse, DDA, Lood, Eben, Sous, PSDT, Marx, Wiese, Kolbe, Grant should play against Babas but given they are all veterans, played for the Boks 6 months ago, had full seasons/just recovered/are familiar with our systems, should they not be rested/risked?
