How come there aren't more/any (assistant) coaches that are previous players? I feel like there is so much benefit in having a players mind from the outside looking in, especially with no in-game emotions running.
Neutral standpoints on in game conflicts between players, high level understanding of mechanics/in game decision making, knowledge of day to day life as a player and what helps them, and can't forget the ability to stand-in if needed (scrims included).

Multiple teams have made some offseason decisions that the community has decided was a terrible move.
If you don’t have an internal connection to a team, you have no idea what’s going on. Stats dont mean shit when a team doesnt get along/share similar ideas.

Also a reminder, almost 100% of Tier 1 players are insane players UNDER THE RIGHT TEAM. They could be insane with one group, and not so good with another.
It ALSO is the same way with personalities, sometimes they just don’t click (looking at you @/Xeppaaa you piece of shit).
