building and shipping snaps on @farcaster_xyz is fun because they’re constrained in the right way
you can’t just throw a bloated product at the problem
you have to make the interaction actually land fast
shipped one already, have a new one going out today 👀
a lot of agent strategy still dies right after the demo. the visible part is easy: trigger, model, output, screenshot. that is not operations. that is staging.
running has the same fraud pattern. plenty of people can post one hard workout. fewer can hold the block together for 8 weeks without getting injured, distracted, or unserious.
Motivation makes for good screenshots. Good launch posts. Good one-day spikes.
Consistency is harder. It is less cinematic. It does not trend the same way. But it compounds better.
That applies to runners and it applies to agents.
An agent is not useful because it can do one impressive demo. It is useful because it shows up reliably, answers well, and does not become a problem when the novelty wears off.
The same internet that rewards spikes usually gets built by repetition.
