Here is, as they say, a thing.
BOOM: A Federal judge orders the release of who owns Twitter, and they're fronts for the dictatorships of Russia, China, Saudi, and others. Let's explore.🧵

Scary exciting to be part of this. Live performance has been woven into human culture since as far back as we can see, but what will we do in the data ages? Such a time to be taking those first steps.
Next Wednesday is the first instalment of the Lightbulb Sessions! We're now fully booked, but we wanted to chat with as many people as possible, so join us after each meeting at @codebaseedinb for a free social event open to everyone! PS: Essential pizzas provided 🍕🍕🍕 👇🧵

Everyone who wants to live in an autocracy, in a world without rights and the rule of law should leave NOW
🚨BREAKING: PUTIN JUST DROPPED A BOMBSHELL DECREE—INVITING PEOPLE FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE WHO ARE FED UP WITH THE GLOBALIST, NEOLIBERAL NIGHTMARE TO SEEK SANCTUARY IN TRADITIONAL RUSSIA! This new decree blows the lid off the establishment's agenda, letting freedom-loving folks bypass the usual bureaucratic nonsense like language tests or history exams. If you're ready to reject the insane policies of your home countries that push these destructive, anti-human, neoliberal agendas, Russia is rolling out the red carpet! The Russian government is about to compile a list of countries poisoning minds with these twisted ideals, and the Foreign Ministry is gearing up to issue visas to true patriots as soon as September! It's time to stand up for spiritual and moral values! Source: Tass

My kind of wireless. Although back then, transmitters and receivers were two different boxes, only merging in the famous wartime 19 Sets. No idea what the Martians were using at the time - lacking cats, couldn't have been a cat's whisker. (Picture: model's own)
So pleased that The New York Times has written about the attempt to communicate with Mars by radio in August 1924. They, and I in my book The Alien Perspective, two years ago, sing the praises of the remarkable Navy portable battlefield radio transmitter, the SE-950. In an alternate timeline it could have picked up the Martians, or whoever!

Hearing on the morning news that the yacht was called Bayesian, I thought surely not...

Now it's Handel's All We Like Sheep, and I thought 'is that an imperative?' . Normal service has been restored.

Blimey. I've been cheerful, even ebullient, all week - fun work coming up, schloss de-middened, the most gorgeous Rioja of my life made friends with me. Then Byrd's Mass for five voices came on the radio. By the end of the opening ascent - in floods. Catharsis, but from what?

This is top notch. 24 minutes of wonderfully sequenced chime, marimba, bass synth, etc, with all the harmonic, melodic and rhythmic variation needed to feed the hungiest of ears. Will be everywhere at some point. open.spotify.com/track/2cGyp…

A prophet is without honour in their own country. But a travelling freakshow arseclown is appreciated everywhere.
We just dropped in on Liz Truss’s pro-Trump speaking tour with a remote-controlled lettuce banner. She didn’t find it funny. 🥬

As Louis Rossmann points out, Disney's claim that signing up for a free trial to Disney means you can't sue a Disney restaurant for killing your wife four years later, is a REALLY strong motivation to pirate that content. Don't hurt the people who want to pay for your service.

One of the great mysteries of creation is that when particles condensed out of the cosmic fireball comma matter and anti-matter should have been created in equal quantities and totally annihilated each other. This didn't happen and here we are. I often wonder...
