Your code builds, but the IDE still shows red? False positives are one of the hardest parts of Rust code analysis, so we've been working to make RustRover diagnostics more accurate and trustworthy. Manuel Ceron, Software Developer in RustRover, explains how we find false positives, measure, and fix them: blog.jetbrains.com/rust/2026… #NewInRustRover

RustRover 2026.1.3 is out! Good news if nightly Rust has recently made your IDE confused: RustRover now supports const impl syntax and trait impl restriction syntax used in newer standard library code. We’ve also added an option to keep the debugger from stepping into library code, so you can stay focused on your own application flow. Update now for a smoother RustRover experience 👇 youtrack.jetbrains.com/artic…

cargo check takes 45 seconds in the zellij-utils crate in github.com/zellij-org/zellij. RustRover shows supported errors instantly. How? In my talk with Lukas Wirth, we dig into why IDEs can feel so much faster than the compiler: youtube.com/watch?v=VbdD1c3o…

Last Friday's Rust meetup in Berlin felt different 🦀Around 50 Rust developers joined us for an evening of talks, discussions, and community connections. @wolfvollprecht, founder and CEO of @prefix_dev, shared lessons learned building open-source software supply chain infrastructure for the Conda ecosystem, including Pixi and rattler. @FlorianGilcher, co-founder of @FerrousSystems and former Rust Core Team member, spoke about Ferrocene and safety-critical Rust. The best part was seeing the community shape the evening as it unfolded, with spontaneous lightning talks and thoughtful questions. Thanks to everyone who came, shared ideas, and made the evening what it was 🙏

Rust will become a boring language. Bold prediction from @vlad20012, but hear him out since boring might be exactly what Rust needs.

"In 5 years, Rust will be _" We asked @ddprrt to finish the sentence. Turns out, what's designed for humans works surprisingly well for AI too. Full interview coming today in our blog post 📆
