Kyle Hamilton says one thing that has stood out with Jesse Minter’s defense is “there is no grey area.”

Tyler Loop had to make a 40-yard field goal at the end of practice today to get the whole team out of post-practice meetings on the last day of minicamp. Loop nailed it, setting off a big celebration from his teammates.

Lamar Jackson said he’s “liking our choices” at center so far through the offseason. Danny Pinter and Jovaughn Gwyn split first-team reps during minicamp.

Lamar Jackson did a fist bump when asked for his take on Myles Garrett being out of the AFC North. However, he gave a shoutout to new Brown Jared Verse, calling him a very good player.

Lamar Jackson said it’s “mind-blowing” how detail-oriented Declan Doyle’s offense is. He feels like he’s made good strides in it so far this offseason.

Reuben Lowery III was an OTAs and training camp darling last summer with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent. He earned a spot on the initial 53-man roster. He played in three games and started one vs. Houston when the Ravens were decimated by injuries. His dream of playing in the NFL came true. Lowery also has a degree in mechanical engineering from UT Chattanooga. He’ll do quite well, even if this is indeed the end of his football career. A good reminder to chase your dreams AND get your education.

Calais Campbell says reuniting with Anthony Weaver was a major reason why he came back to Baltimore. Calais called him probably his favorite coach.

Calais Campbell says that, as of now, he’s planning for this 19th season to be his last in the NFL.

Jesse Minter said he “could not be more pleased” with Roquan Smith and expects him to be one of the best linebackers in the NFL.

Jesse Minter said there were some players dealing with illnesses today. Everybody reported for minicamp and more players expected to practice tomorrow.

Some standouts from today’s Ravens minicamp practice: 🟣 Rookie punter Ryan Eckley hit some absolute ~60-yard missiles and has a couple nice pooch punts. ⚫️ Rookie WR Elijah Sarratt made the best catch of practice on a tightly contested long throw to the sideline. 🟣 Zion Young continues to impress. ⚫️ Trenton Simpson and Roquan Smith both shot some gaps for TFLs.
